Mehmet Ali Ergun,MD, PhD, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. Then, he completed his Medical Genetics Specialization in 1999 and completed his Doctorate in Medical Biology and Genetics in 2005. He has been working at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine since 2000 and has been working as a Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics since 2012. As a routine; he works in the fields of cytogenetics and molecular genetics, as well as research in the field of Bioinformatics. Apart from the Faculty of Medicine, he teaches graduate courses at Gazi University Informatics Institute, Department of Health Informatics. He has been on the board of directors of the Medical Genetics Association since 2017.
